Run by Bernard and Agnès Léger-Plumet
Domaine du Chalet Pouilly received 90/100 for the Pouilly-Fuissé 2013. "(here too the vine age averages 50+ years old with the oldest being planted in 1945). There is an almost riesling-like petrol character to the softly exotic aromas of dried apricot and peach. The palate feel of the mediumbodied flavors is luscious to the point of being borderline oily and while that is rarely what I search for in white Burgundy, here it actually works for some reason thanks to the reasonably firm acid spine on the delicious finish. This is really quite good even though it's not even remotely classic in style. 90/2017+." Burghound.com, October 2015 #60
Domaine du Chalet Pouilly received 90-92/100 for the Pouilly-Fuissé 2013. "Tasted from barrel, the 2013 Pouilly Fuissé will offer great detail on the nose with tangible flint/limestone scents later joined by subtle estuarine notes. The palate is clean and fresh with plenty of fresh lime and orange zest, real vibrancy here and animation towards the finish. Another barrel had even more brightness and intensity, which bodes well for the future. I look forward to tasting this in bottle." eRobertParker.com, October 2014 #215
Domaine du Chalet Pouilly received 90/100 for the Saint-Véran 2013. "Bottled at the end of April, the 2013 St Véran, which is aged in stainless steel, has a lovely brightness and joie de vivre on the nose, with crisp citrus lemon and fine mineralité. There is very good precision here. The palate is well-balanced with touches of orange zest and shaved ginger on the entry, and then that mineralité takes over and leads it home. What a pretty Mâconnais wine." eRobertParker.com, October 2014 #215
Domaine du Chalet Pouilly received 89/100 for the Mâcon-Solutré 2013. "From 0.4 hectares of vine planted four years ago, the debut 2013 Mâcon Solutre has quite a rich caramel-tinged nose and likewise the palate is surprisingly honeyed and generous, with quite a sumptuous finish that, to be honest, just feels a little too decadent for a Mâcon Solutre. Enjoy this over the next couple years. Normally this should be around 3,000 bottles, but there are just 800 bottles this year due to the growing season." eRobertParker.com, October 2014 #215
Domaine du Chalet Pouilly received 90/100 for the Pouilly-Fuissé 2012. "Bottled at the end of February, and raised in 15% new oak, the 2012 Pouilly Fuissé offers very good intensity on the nose with lightly brushed acacia honey, hints of nougat and citrus fruit, perhaps a little richer than the 2013. The palate is well-balanced and slightly honeyed with hints of hazelnut and smoke coming through. It has a very well-balanced, quite deep finish, although I suspect that the 2013 may have great persistency and tension." eRobertParker.com, October 2014 #215
Domaine du Chalet Pouilly received 89/100 for the Saint-Véran 2012. "From a three-hectare parcel averaging 55 years in age and matured 7 to 8 months in tank (bottled one month previously), the 2012 St. Veran has a mineral-driven bouquet that expresses the precocity, the ebullience of the vintage. It offers great delineation and sense of place with subtle flinty notes emerging in the glass. The palate is well-balanced with a nicely poised, stony opening that is taut and focused. This is certainly a more mineral-driven than fruit-driven wine and it possesses commendable delineation and tension to the very end. Bon vin! Drink now-2016" eRobertParker.com, August 2013 #208
Domaine du Chalet Pouilly received 92/100 for the Pouilly-Fuissé 2011. "The 2011 Pouilly-Fuisse comes from 5 hectares of vine that the family is converting toward biodynamie. It is aged for 20 months in used demi-muids. It has a succinct and extremely well-defined bouquet that is subtle, offering traces of honeysuckle, wet limestone and oyster shell. The palate is well-balanced with a silver thread of acidity. It is tightly wound at the moment, very focused, like the St. Veran 2012 more mineral-driven toward the finish with just a touch of shaved ginger lingering on the aftertaste. It is what Pouilly-Fuisse is all about." eRobertParker.com, August 2013 #208
Domaine du Chalet Pouilly received 93/100 for the Pouilly-Fuissé 2010. "The 2010 Pouilly-Fuisse has a decidedly different bouquet to the 2011: slightly richer, more perfumed with dried flowers, apricot blossom and traces of wild honey. The palate is structured, tense and more backward than the 2009, which I suspect will drink sooner. The finish is beautifully focused with supremely well-judged acidity that lends race and tension, hints of blood orange lingering on the saline aftertaste. This is a sublime Pouilly-Fuisse." eRobertParker.com, August 2013 #208
Domaine du Chalet Pouilly received 92/100 for the Pouilly-Fuissé 2009. "The 2009 Pouilly-Fuisse, which saw around 25% new oak, is developing a compelling bouquet with scents of white peach, dried apricot and quince that shows immense clarity. It blossoms wonderfully in the glass. The palate is very well-balanced with nicely integrated oak. It builds nicely in the mouth, offering yellow plum, dried pineapple and a touch of spice on the seductive, poised finish. Excellent." eRobertParker.com, August 2013 #208

Tasting of Pouilly-Fuissé 2010
Before the release of the 2010 vintage an internal tasting was held in December 2012 and revealed that though still being a young wine Pouilly-Fuissé 2010 has a great potential. The Robe has a shinny light yellow color with green hints. The delicate nose reveals citrus fruits (lemon, orange, pink grapefruit), acacia flowers, white fruits (white peach), etc. The oak, discreet on the nose, adds a touch of vanilla and honey to the wine's minerality. The richness of the aromas of this wine makes you ponder over its finesse! read more...
Harvest and Vinification of Pouilly-Fuissé 2010
The harvest of the Pouilly-Fuissé 2010 started on September 21 2010, a sunny day with mild temperatures. Prior to the harvest a number of thorough grape samplings had been carried out to assess the maturity of the grapes. The results showed a good concentration of natural sugar that would lead to an alcoholic strength of 13°. read more...

Domaine du Chalet Pouilly receive 89/100 for the Pouilly-Fuissé 2009. "Interestingly given the respective characters of the two vintages, this is riper than but not nearly as exotic as the 2010 St. Véran with its mix of apricot, peach and menthol aromas. There is a plush texture to the medium-bodied flavors that enjoy fine levels of palate coating dry extract that buffers the moderately firm acid spine on the attractively dry and persistent finish. This is not overly complex at present but it has both the material and the structure to reward 2 to 3 years of cellar time. A quality effort.." Burghound, September 2012, #48
Domaine du Chalet Pouilly receive 87/100 for the Saint-Véran 2010. "A very mild hint of exoticism marks the expressive and pretty nose that is composed primarily of yellow orchard fruit aromas plus hints of spice and citrus. There is touch of vanilla to the very round, juicy and succulent medium-bodied flavors that possess impressively good mid-palate concentration before culminating in a mouth coating and persistent finish of only moderate depth. I would be drinking this immediately for its pretty fruit as it risks becoming heavy with age." Burghound, September 2012, #48
Wine & Spirits Magazine
Domaine du Chalet Pouilly receive 92/100 for the Pouilly-Fuissé 2008. "This has a classical Pouilly-Fuisse minerality, as if grown in a bed of ancient seashells, yielding a wine that tastes of flowers and stones rather than fruit. A whirring acidity lengthens those flavors in the finish. For prawns finished in cream." Wine & Spirits, April 2012
Domaine du Chalet Pouilly receive 87/100 for the Pouilly-Fuissé 2009. "Lemon cake and grapefruit notes have moderate intensity in this white. It's firm and even a bit lean, with a bitter grapefruit and almond finish. Drink now. –BS. Web only -2012.
Domaine du Chalet Pouilly receive 86/100 for the Saint-Véran 2010. "Apple and stone flavors are promising, but this white thins out a little on the palate. Moderate length. Drink now through 2014. –BS. Web only -2012.

Domaine du Chalet Pouilly receive 91/100 for the Pouilly-Fuissé 2009 (matured 16 months in French oak barrels). R.V. -Wine Enthusiast.(12/31/2011)

Domaine du Chalet Pouilly receive 86/100 for the Pouilly-Fuissé 2008 (matured 18 months in French oak barrels). A slim, tightly knit style, with bright acidity driving its honey, baked apple and lemon flavors. Just a tad tart on the finish. Best from 2012 through 2017. –BS. Web only -2011.
Domaine du Chalet Pouilly receive 84/100 for the Pouilly-Fuissé 2008 (matured in stainless steel tanks). A distinctive clover honey aroma leads to apple, lemon and mineral flavors. This tails off quickly on the finish, though. Drink now. 448 cases imported. –BS. Web only -2011.
Domaine du Chalet Pouilly receive 87/100 for the Pouilly-Fuissé 2008 (barrel aged for 18 months). "Discreet wood influence sets off slightly exotic yellow fruit aromas that are nuanced by hints of white peach and pear. There is better concentration to the textured, round and delicious flavors that also culminate in a somewhat fruity and sweet finish that offers a bit more persistence." Burghound, October 2011, #44
Domaine du Chalet Pouilly receive 86/100 for the Pouilly-Fuissé 2008 (matured in stainless steel tanks). "A ripe, fruity and intensely floral nose cut with lemon hints leads to delicious, round and attractively rich middle weight flavors that culminate in an equally fruity and mildly sweet finish. This is perfectly good but a bit simple and not particularly distinguished." Burghound, October 2011, #44

After 18 months aged in French oak barrels, Pouilly-Fuissé 2009 will be bottled April 1/3rd 2011.
Domaine du Chalet Pouilly receive 90/100 for the Saint-Véran 2009. "Golden color. Very clean on the nose with mostly apple and pear coming through, and a touch of white flower. The orchard fruit and white peach flavors are, for lack of a better word, downright delicious, and stay persistent from start to finish. There's surprising weight on the mid palate matched by good acid levels. An absolute steal of a wine and hopefully an indication of things to come from '09 Chardonnay in Burgundy (90 pts.)". (1/11/2011).
